it was a nice day here today... so to celebrate the new year, morton and i went on a 2 hour adventure near my house. we walked down a 1/2 mile or so to the springwater corridor trail and spent a long time wandering and exploring along johnson creek.
i get really into the "beautiful dead-ness" of this time of year. i love finding little signs of life and edgy beauty mixed in with the dried weeds, grey skies and fallen leaves.
